Well-made hardwood pieces can often be brought back to life.

Handmade by Harp offers cleaning, refinishing, and restoration services for cutting boards, serving boards, butcher blocks, and other hardwood items that have become worn, scratched, dry, stained, or simply need some attention.

Cutting boards and serving pieces are our primary focus, but we’re happy to look at other hardwood items as well. If you have a piece with sentimental, practical, or monetary value, reach out with a few photos and a description of its condition to see whether restoration may be a good option.

Depending on the item and its condition, restoration may include:

● Cleaning and surface preparation
● Sanding to remove scratches, knife marks, and worn finish
● Minor surface correction
● Reconditioning with an appropriate finish
● Final buffing and detailing

Every piece is evaluated individually before work begins. Some damage, including deep cracks, severe warping, rot, loose joints, or structural issues, may be outside the scope of the service.
