Care Instructions

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Your board is made from natural hardwood and, with proper care, can provide many years of use.

Everyday Care

Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap after use. Rinse clean and towel dry immediately.

Do not soak or leave the board sitting in water. Never place it in the dishwasher, as excessive heat and moisture can cause the wood to warp, crack, or separate.

Allow the board to finish air-drying before storing. Store it in a dry location away from prolonged heat and direct sunlight.

Keeping Your Board Conditioned

As the wood naturally dries, the surface may begin to look lighter, dull, or feel dry to the touch. Apply a food-safe mineral oil or cutting board conditioner whenever this happens, typically every 3–6 weeks depending on use and washing.

Apply the conditioner evenly to all wooden surfaces, including the top, bottom, sides, and end grain. Allow it to absorb, then wipe away any excess with a clean cloth.

Regular conditioning helps reduce moisture absorption, keeps the wood looking its best, and helps protect against drying and cracking.
